DESCRIPTION

By drawing water into the intestines, the 250 mg of magnesium hydroxide works as a laxative to treat constipation and as an antacid to counteract excess stomach acid. Dried Aluminium Hydroxide works as an antacid by neutralizing stomach acid, which intensifies the antacid effect. By dissolving gas bubbles in the digestive tract and facilitating the passage of trapped gas, activated dimethicone (50 mg) helps lessen bloating and discomfort. As a moderate laxative, sorbitol solution (0.65 mg) draws water into the colon to encourage bowel motions.
