Amvic-2500 Injection contains methylcobalamin, a man-made version of Vitamin B12, which is essential for maintaining nerve health, brain function, and red blood cell production. This medicine is typically used to treat Vitamin B12 deficiency in individuals with weakness and peripheral neuropathy (pain in hands and feet). Methylcobalamin helps regulate important bodily functions such as cell division, blood clotting, and protein synthesis.

INDICATION


• Peripheral neuropathy : refers to damage to the nerves located outside the brain and spinal cord, often affecting the feet and hands, resulting in weakness, numbness, and pain. Factors such as diabetes, injuries, and infections can cause peripheral neuropathy. Amvic -2500 Injection, containing methylcobalamin 2500 mcg, is used in the treatment of peripheral neuropathy. This injection helps in the production of myelin, a protective layer surrounding nerve fibers.

• Megaloblastic Anaemia : Weakness is a condition in which your bone marrow creates too many large, immature red blood cells. This occurs when there's a deficiency of either Vitamin B12 or folic acid in your body. Symptoms might include muscle weakness, diarrhea, vision problems, among others. Amvic-2500 Injection (methylcobalamin 2500 mcg) is a medication used to address weakness caused by Vitamin B12 deficiency. It helps in the production of red blood cells.
