DESCRIPTION
Grok-NT Tablet (Gabapentin 400 mg + Nortriptyline 10 mg) is a combination medication used primarily to manage neuropathic pain. Grok-NT Tablet (Gabapentin 400 mg + Nortriptyline 10 mg) works by stabilizing nerve activity, while Nortriptyline, a tricyclic antidepressant, enhances pain relief by modulating neurotransmitters. Grok-NT Tablet (Gabapentin 400 mg + Nortriptyline 10 mg) they provide synergistic effects in relieving chronic nerve-related pain.
INDICATION
• Postherpetic Neuralgia:- Postherpetic neuralgia (PHN) is a condition that affects your nerve fibres and skin. It causes burning pain that lasts long after the rash and blisters of shingles (reactivation of chickenpox virus) disappear. This pain can last for three months or longer. Grok-NT Tablet (Gabapentin 400 mg + Nortriptyline 10 mg) is used to treat PHN which improves over time.

• Neuropathic pain:- Neuropathic pain is a shooting, stabbing or burning pain caused due to damage to your nerves. The affected area is often sensitive to touch. It can affect the nerves present anywhere in your body, commonly, in the hands and feet. Grok-NT Tablet (Gabapentin 400 mg + Nortriptyline 10 mg) provides relief from such type of nerve pain.

MACHANISM OF ACTION
Gabapentin acts by binding to the α2δ subunit of voltage-gated calcium channels in the central nervous system, reducing the release of excitatory neurotransmitters and calming overactive nerves.
Nortriptyline works by inhibiting the reuptake of norepinephrine and serotonin, enhancing their levels in the synaptic cleft and modulating pain perception. Together, they reduce nerve signal transmission and provide effective relief from neuropathic pain

Drug-Drug Interactions: Grok-NT Tablet (Gabapentin 400 mg + Nortriptyline 10 mg) may interact with hypnotics (zolpidem), antidepressants (citalopram, duloxetine, escitalopram, fluoxetine, bupropion, sertraline), pain killers (codeine, hydrocodone, acetaminophen, oxycodone, tramadol, methadone), anti-histamine (diphenhydramine, cetirizine), muscle relaxant (cyclobenzaprine), anti-convulsant (clonazepam, pregabalin, topiramate), anti-thyroid (levothyroxine), anti-anxiety (diazepam, alprazolam), anti-emetic (ondansetron), anti-psychotic (quetiapine), and drugs used to treat opioid misuse (naloxone, buprenorphine).
