DESCRIPTION
Cilon-1000 Injection (Ceftriaxone 1000 mg) is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used for the treatment of various bacterial infections affecting different parts of the body such as the skin, urinary tract, lungs, throat, ears, heart, bones, and joints. It works by killing bacteria or preventing their multiplication. Depending on the severity and type of infection, your doctor may prescribe Cilon-1000 MG Injection (Ceftriaxone 1000 mg) alone or along with other medicines.
INDICATION

MECHANISM OF ACTION
Ceftriaxone works by interfering with the formation of the bacterial cell wall. It binds to specific proteins in the bacterial cell wall known as penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs). This action blocks the cross-linking of peptidoglycan chains, which are essential for maintaining cell wall strength and structure. As a result, the bacterial cell wall becomes weak and ruptures, leading to the death of the bacteria.
