DESCRIPTION

Arlac Injection (Diclofenac Sodium 75 mg) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve pain and reduce inflammation in various conditions. MECHANISM OF ACTION
 

Arlac Injection (Diclofenac Sodidum 75 mg) works by stopping two important chemicals called cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2). These chemicals help make substances called prostaglandins, which play a role in pain, swelling, and fever. COX-1 helps protect the stomach lining and supports blood clotting, while COX-2 is mainly involved in causing inflammation, pain, and fever. By blocking these chemicals, diclofenac reduces the production of inflammatory prostaglandins, which helps lower swelling, pain, and fever.
